Clerestory Windows in the Choir

Each of the four bays of the west part of the choir clerestory has two lancet windows, and, above them, a rose window (see drawing at left). In the diagram, the names of the rose windows for these four bays are in the central area of the transept, while the names of the lancet windows appear in the outer aisles. The seven clerestory windows in the apse are tall single lancets (see drawing at right).
